February 15 was the opening night of Marvel’s Black Panther. The movie released in theaters making a rapid 72.2 million dollar income in the Box Office.

The movie revolves around Black Panther, A.K.A, T’Challa, returning to his hometown in the African Nation, Wakanda, after the passing of his father. He takes on the responsibility of the King of Wakanda until trouble awakens and the Black Panther must fight to keep Wakanda safe.

This past weekend, my father and I went to see Black Panther in theatres, leaving me anxious for the next involvement Black Panther will have in the Marvel Universe.

The movie is very different from anything Marvel has done before, incorporating the connections of Black Panther to other superheroes without knowing of him before. Black Panther’s hometown, Wakanda, was created with such intricate colors and beautiful details. The movie did a good job of explaining the background of T’Challa’s life in a short manner while still getting the point across. Followed by the ending credits is a short clip which is the setup to Marvel’s next movie, Avengers: Infinity War.

Actor, Chadwick Boseman, known for his roles in 42, Marshall and Get On Up, did a phenomenal job at creating the perfect Black Panther who is kind to all and afraid of nothing.

Overall, the movie was amazing, having the whole theatre in a ball of emotions. I highly recommend everyone goes and sees the movie, for it is one for the books.
