The reality show, The Bachelor, which airs on ABC is on it 22 season fulfilling 225 episodes since the show premiered back in 2002. The show has a huge fan base in which the fans call themselves “The Bachelor Nation.” People who watch the show are often found having gatherings at one’s house to watch the show as it airs every week on Monday nights at 7PM. Each episode is two hours long, in which the bachelor or bachelorette spends the episode taking people on dates, kissing everyone in site and by the end, sending at least one person home.

The Bachelor, which is known for its red roses and seasonal villains, has been gaining more and more fans as the seasons go on. The franchise has had its handful of spin off shows including: The Bachelor Pad, Bachelor In Paradise and The Bachelor Winter Games. The show has been aired in multiple countries and some countries have even created their own version of the show in which their people participate in hope of finding love.

On this season, Kissing bandit, Arie Luyendyk Jr, has fans wondering who he ends up with, since he claims to have fallen in love with two women. After this past week’s episode of The Bachelor, Arie sent contestant Tia, packing her bags after a week of hometowns. As the seasons go on, some fans like to pre-pick the winners because the contestant is their favorite. For some fans, Tia was their chosen pick and when Arie sent her home, some fans became very disappointed.

“I love Tia and I thought she had so much love to give to Arie,” junior Amber Philips said. “He is stupid for sending her home.”

For whatever reason people watch The Bachelor, it always gets them to come back to watch another season filled with tears, drama and heartbreak. Even though the chosen bachelor/ bachelorette might leave the show without an engagement ring or a final rose to give out, fans still tune in every Monday night to watch the one person kiss 20 different people in hope they find love and their forever soulmate.
