Waking up super early just to sit in a building for 8 hours is not always on everyone’s top ten list. Summer has expired and dealing with personal problems and school all at once is a true struggle. Optimizing your health during stressful school days is necessary for a great year!

Digging through the endless amounts of pins on Pinterest, I came across “No Bake Energy Bites”  to boost your school day! According to EverydayHealth, teenagers need roughly 8-10 hours of sleep, and with the help of a nutritious breakfast, energy bites like this will power your mornings to get through the day. On Pinterest, @cookingclassy believes small snacks are essential for early mornings. This quick and easy snack is a must for the beginning of the school year:

 

No Bake Energy Bites

Ingredients

⅓ cup Honey

½ cup Creamy peanut butter

1 cup Oats (old-fashioned raw)

6 tbsp Dark chocolate chip morsels

½ cup Golden flaxseed meal

1 tsp Vanilla extract

⅔ cup Coconut, toasted sweetened

 

Directions

 

In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, honey and vanilla extract. Add remaining ingredients and stir till evenly coated. Roll mixture into balls and place in refrigerator or freezer until set.
